Stormwater Monitoring

Students have been monitoring, collecting data, and observing water flow after storm events at Truckee High School and Kings Beach Elementary School where LID features have been implemented.

High school students learned and performed water quality monitor protocols, cross-section monitoring, macroinvertebrate monitoring, restoration practices, and Citizen Science data collection in order to analyze the water quality in the Lake Tahoe Basin Watershed.
